What is the ruling on watching pornography, and how can one get rid of this habit, and what is the ruling on masturbating after watching it for both married and unmarried individuals?

Muslims must use the internet for what benefits them and avoid prohibited things, such as pornographic websites and images of women, because Allah the Almighty says: "Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts." Looking at forbidden things leads to fornication or dispensing with marriage, and neglecting the rights of one's wife. Whoever does this must repent immediately, refrain from opening such websites, and avoid browsing the internet alone. Masturbation is also forbidden, and it is a natural consequence of looking at what is prohibited. Its prohibition is even greater for a married person. Muslims must fear Allah and be mindful of Him in secret and in public.
