Is the marriage considered Islamically void in the event of the husband abandoning his wife, not spending on her, falsely accusing her, with her knowledge of his marriage to another woman, and the wife's desire to marry someone else?

We ask Allah to grant you an imminent relief and remove from you the distress and sorrow that befell you due to your husband being falsely accused. Accusing an innocent person is a reprehensible act. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says about a believer something that is not true, Allah will make him dwell in the mire of Khabal until he retracts what he said."

Your forbidding your husband to yourself until the Day of Judgment does not result in divorce, ẓihār, or annulment of the marriage contract. Rather, it entails an expiation for breaking an oath if you resume conjugal relations with him.

You must immediately cut off your relationship with the foreign man, as a precaution against the steps of Satan, especially since you are experiencing difficult circumstances with your husband.

As long as your husband possesses these characteristics, ask him for a divorce or khulʿ. If he does not agree, refer your case to the judiciary. After obtaining a divorce and the completion of the ʿidda (waiting period), you are entitled to marry whomever you wish.

We also alert you that the phrase "it was by chance" is incorrect. The correct phrasing is: Allah willed it.
