What is your opinion on this statement in light of the aforementioned circumstances, and how can a jobless girl who rarely leaves the house exert effort [to find work]?

Allah Almighty is capable of all things, and having a good opinion of Him is legislatively required. Difficult circumstances do not prevent one from having a good opinion of Allah, as seen in the story of Ka'b ibn Malik and his two companions. It is authentically reported in Al-Bukhari and Muslim that Allah Almighty says: "I am as My servant thinks of Me." And in a narration by Muslim: "I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he supplicates Me." Therefore, supplication is required even in severe distress, and one should not despair of Allah's mercy. Marriage is a provision (rizq) and comes by Allah's permission. What is required is to take the means, such as supplication, having a good opinion of Allah, and seeking help from trustworthy individuals. There is no blame on a woman for seeking a righteous husband, and a woman not leaving her house does not mean she will not marry; rather, it might even be a reason for men to desire her.
