Is the sa'y (ritual circumambulation between Safa and Marwa) waived for the pilgrim performing Hajj at-Tamattu' if he performs the sa'y on the Day of Tarwiyah with the intention of it fulfilling the sa'y of Eid day?

The Mutamatti' (pilgrim performing Mut'ah Hajj) exits the state of ihram after 'Umrah, then enters ihram for Hajj on the eighth day and proceeds to Mina. The sa'i (ritual circumambulation) of Hajj is not permissible to be performed before standing at 'Arafah or Muzdalifah, except for the Qarin (pilgrim performing Qiran Hajj) or the Mufrid (pilgrim performing Ifrad Hajj) if he performs sa'i after the tawaf al-qudum (arrival tawaf). Whoever performs sa'i before its appointed time must avoid his spouse and come to Mecca to perform the sa'i. The best approach is to enter ihram for 'Umrah from the miqat, perform tawaf, sa'i, and shorten the hair, then perform the sa'i of Hajj.
