ما هي أركان العقد وسننه، وما هي صيغته الصحيحة وشرحها؟

It is recommended that the Khutbat al-Hajah (Sermon of Need) precede the marriage contract. It includes: praise and commendation of Allah, the Shahadah (testimony of faith), prayers upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the recitation of three verses: {Fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims} (3:102), {Fear Allah, through Whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed, Allah is always over you an Observer} (4:1), and {Fear Allah and speak words of uprightness} (33:70). The sermon should be one. It is also recommended to announce the marriage with the daff (tambourine), to hold the contract on a Friday, and to congratulate the married person with the supplication: "May Allah bless you, and bless upon you, and bring you together in goodness and well-being."
