What is the relationship between the Prophet's ethics (peace be upon him) and the existence of God?

Allah created the Prophet (peace be upon him) and disciplined him, and made him of a great moral character, in accordance with His saying, the Almighty: ﴿And indeed, you are of a great moral character.﴾ It is incumbent upon a Muslim to diligently read books on the Prophet's characteristics (shamail) and strive to emulate the Prophet's (peace be upon him) morals and his interactions with people, just as he strives to follow him in acts of worship.
