Is the husband considered sinful towards his wife whom he deceived and caused her psychological distress, even while providing a comfortable life for her and their children?

You must repent to Allah, for you have committed two reprehensible acts: The first is your claiming to possess what you do not, which is blameworthy, and some scholars have considered it among the major sins. The second is your injustice to your wife by abandoning her and denying her rights, which contradicts living together honorably. Providing money does not suffice for the rights of the wife and children. We advise you to appease your wife, seek her forgiveness, and compensate her and your children with kindness and affection.
