Is it permissible to write down the Istikharah supplication and recite it during prayer? Is the Istikharah prayer permissible with the intention of obtaining a good job? And can it be performed after the ‘Isha’ prayer or in the middle of the night?

The supplication for Istikhara (guidance-seeking prayer) is made after concluding the prayer with salutations, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Then let him pray two rak'ahs, not from the obligatory prayers, and then let him say: O Allah..." It is not permissible to write the supplication and read it during the prayer, as some jurists, like Abu Hanifa, invalidated the prayer for such an act, and it disrupts humility. Istikhara is recommended for all matters and is prescribed when one intends to undertake any permissible action. It can be performed after the 'Isha prayer, in the middle of the night, or at any time except during the forbidden times for prayer.
