A Muslim should not be obscene. And for a father to curse his child is permissible as long as it does not involve invoking a curse or slandering. It is permissible for a father to address his son with an ugly name for disciplinary purposes, as Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq did with his son Abdur-Rahman. And a father's continuous cursing of his child due to anger does not impeach his integrity.
