What is the expiation for intentionally breaking the fast on two days in Ramadan, one of them after eating suhoor, thinking that Fajr had begun, and the other intentionally?

Breaking the fast during the day in Ramadan is one of the gravest sins, and a severe warning has been mentioned concerning it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw in a dream people hanging by their hamstrings, their mouth corners torn open, with blood flowing from them. It was said: "These are those who break their fast before their fasting is due."

Whoever deliberately breaks their fast must perform sincere repentance with regret and make up the days they missed. The majority of scholars hold that only making up the days (qada') is obligatory, arguing that expiation (kaffarah) is only required for breaking the fast through sexual intercourse specifically. In contrast, others believe that expiation is obligatory along with making up the days for any deliberate breaking of the fast.
