The preponderant opinion, agreed upon by the majority of scholars, is the prohibition of a menstruating woman staying in the mosque. Acting upon the preponderant opinion is obligatory, and it is not permissible to act upon the weaker opinion except in cases of necessity. There is no necessity here to adopt the weaker opinion, as it is possible to obtain recorded lessons and lectures without resorting to staying in the mosque.
