Is the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah, which describes the distances between the heavens and the earths, authentic? And are the numbers mentioned therein precise, or are they for illustrating the vastness of the universe? And are the seven earths layers, one beneath the other, or are they other planets? And is Hell located beneath the seventh earth?

The narration about the distances between the layers of the earth is weak. There are seven earths, as indicated by the Almighty's saying: "It is Allah Who created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof." As for specifying the distances or locations of the other earths, we do not have anything conclusive regarding that. A group of scholars has stated that Hellfire is beneath the seventh earth, and some narrations support this.
