What is the ruling on tarot cards that are used for fortune-telling, divination, and revealing the future and the past?

It is forbidden to consult fortune-tellers and believe them, according to the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights," and "Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and believes what he says, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days." As for, "Whoever goes to a soothsayer or a fortune-teller and believes what he says, he has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad."
