If the husband does not stipulate virginity, she is not required to inform him that it has been lost due to a surgery or similar procedure. However, if he does stipulate it, she is obligated to inform him of the truth, providing documents that confirm it, if the hymen has indeed been ruptured. If the hymen has not been ruptured and the opening that occurred in it has no lasting effect, she is not required to inform him. Her fear of him reproaching her in the future might be a whisper from Satan.
