Does divorce take place if the husband says to his wife, "If you insult again, you will be divorced," and then the wife insults thereafter?

A wife abandoning her husband's bed is a grave sin, and she must repent for that, as well as for reviling, hitting, and biting her husband. Conditional divorce takes effect when the condition is met, according to the majority of scholars, whether the intention was divorce or merely a threat. Some scholars, however, hold that it does not take effect if divorce was not intended, and in such a case, an expiation for breaking an oath is required.
