What is the text of the supplication for one whose worries have multiplied and who is burdened by debt?
Many authentic supplications have been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for repaying debts and relieving worries, among them:
- "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and from inability and laziness, and from stinginess and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and being overcome by men."
- "O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the earth, and Lord of everything, Splitter of the grain and the date-stone, Revealer of the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an, I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything evil You are taking by its forelock. You are the First, so there is nothing before You; and You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; and You are the Manifest, so there is nothing above You; and You are the Intimate, so there is nothing beyond You. Settle my debt for me and enrich me from poverty."
