How can one get rid of masturbation and pornography, and will life return to what it was before after abandoning them, and will they affect marriage in the future?

The more trials and tribulations increase, the greater the reward and recompense for the servant who remains steadfast upon the truth and resists these trials. Therefore, you must accustom yourself to patience in obeying Allah and in refraining from disobeying Him. If you are sincere in striving against your self to adhere to the religion and remain upright, Allah will assist you, as He Almighty said: "And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways."

We advise you to frequently engage in the remembrance of Allah, supplicate to Him, and seek refuge in Him. Also, refrain from looking at what is unlawful and lower your gaze. Among the most important things that will help you remain steadfast is seeking righteous companionship. You will be better than you were before, whenever you seek Allah's help and are keen to fulfill His commands and abandon His prohibitions.
