Is it permissible to pay state taxes from interest?

It is not permissible to pay taxes from usurious interest, even if the state is oppressive or disbelieving; because that would mean benefiting from usurious interest to protect a portion of one's wealth.

What is obligatory is to dispose of usurious interest by spending it on public interests for Muslims, such as paving roads and building hospitals for the poor, with the intention of getting rid of it, not seeking proximity to Allah through it, "for indeed Allah is good and accepts only what is good."
