Imaginations that do not involve visualizing intercourse with a specific person are not without consequences, so one must beware of indulging in them and stop reading and listening to topics related to them. This should not be justified by offering advice to friends, as this opens a door for Satan. These imaginations, even if involuntary, must be resisted so that they do not lead to corruption and temptation. The root of all corruption comes from neglecting thoughts and indulging in them, because they are the seed of Satan in the heart, which grows into desires, then firm resolves, and then yields evil deeds.
