What is the ruling concerning a man who is too arrogant to accept Sharia-compliant advice, such as one who is advised about an error in his prayer but refuses and shows arrogance?

One who falls into error, rejects advice, and clings to their action, possesses arrogance (kibr). Arrogance is among the major sins that may deprive its possessor of Paradise, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one who has an atom's weight of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained arrogance as: "rejecting the truth and despising people." One who encounters such a person should continue to advise them gently and wisely, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel, and debate with them in the best manner."
