However, if they include forbidden matters, concepts that contradict Islam, or contain music or forbidden images, then their production and viewing are prohibited.

Purchasing permissible cartoons is allowed, analogous to children's toys, which scholars have permitted to be bought and sold. As for prohibited ones, it is not permissible to buy or sell them, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And indeed, when Allah forbids something, He forbids its price."

Working with the team in this field is forbidden if it involves assisting and participating in the preparation of what is Haram (forbidden) by Islamic law, and it is permissible if it is free from that.
