What is the ruling on believing that Allah is unjust or that sodomy is permissible in Paradise? Does this count as one of the causes of apostasy? And do the disbelief-inducing thoughts that involuntarily occur to a person and cause them to doubt the validity of their acts of worship constitute apostasy? And will Allah forgive them if they re-embrace Islam?

Obsessive thoughts that come to you involuntarily carry no sin and are not disbelief; they are from Satan. Attributing injustice to Allah is a great error and an act of disbelief, because Allah is far removed from injustice, as stated in the Qur'an and the Hadith Qudsi. Allah's decree and destiny are based on wisdom and justice, and trials are a test of patience. A Muslim must glorify Allah and declare Him free from anything that does not befit Him. Whoever believes in attributing injustice to Allah in what He decrees commits disbelief. The door to repentance is open and encompasses disbelief and other sins.
