What is the ruling on working in a clothing store that plays musical instruments?

One must strive to change evil and not participate with those who commit it, and avoid attending their gatherings. If the work necessitates hearing what is forbidden to hear or sitting in a gathering of evil without the ability to change it, then working in it is not permissible except out of necessity. Sitting with disobedient people, when one is able to leave them, is a participation in their sin. If their situation does not change, then it is obligatory to seek another job, and whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.
