It is not permissible for a man to combine in marriage a maternal aunt and the daughter of her sister's daughter, because she is considered like a direct sister's daughter. It is forbidden to combine two sisters, or a paternal aunt and her brother's daughter, or a maternal aunt and her sister's daughter.
