Is it considered an act of disbelief (kufr) to leave papers bearing the name of Allah on the ground, knowing that they will be thrown in the trash? What is the ruling on dealing with papers on which the name of the university, "Salman bin Abdulaziz," is printed, and they are left on the ground? And what should I do if I find a bag belonging to girls thrown on a dusty floor?

Respecting the names of Allah and not exposing them to degradation is a religious obligation. Owners of establishments must avoid writing the name of Allah in their names to prevent degradation. Anyone who finds papers containing the name of Allah must take them and bury them in a respectful place, or burn them, or tear them up. One who is negligent in this commits a sin. It is not necessary to examine every paper to ensure it is free of Allah's name, as this would cause undue hardship. It is not obligatory to inspect every single paper, but if a verse or hadith is seen with the eye, it must be taken. We advise those who discard papers to inspect them before doing so. As for the bag in which girls place their belongings, it is private to them and it is not permissible to take it without their permission.
