Is it permissible to publish a method for activating a download manager program from the internet for life, knowing that the program may be used to download prohibited materials (songs, TV series, and movies)? And does the publisher bear the sin of whoever uses it for disobedience?

It is not permissible to extend the validity of software that its owners prohibit from being used after the free specified period, by using cracks, serial numbers, or other means. This is because its owners have a right to it, and they have the right to prevent its extension or copying without their permission. The Islamic Fiqh Academy's resolution states that "authorship, invention, or innovation are private rights of their owners, which in contemporary custom have acquired a recognized financial value due to people's transactions involving them. These rights are legally recognized, and it is not permissible to infringe upon them."
