Is it permissible to download a free, full version of a game after the expiration of a paid (trial) version?

Electronic games, if free from religious prohibitions and do not distract from an obligation, are permissible. However, playing them excessively is detrimental to one's chivalry and a waste of time. Downloading games for free from the internet is permissible if done with the permission of their owners. However, if the owners retain copyright and prohibit downloading except for a fee, then it is not permissible. Therefore, the game should be removed from the device, especially since attachment to these games can lead to neglecting one's duties.
