Surat Ash-Sharh has been given several names, including: Surat Alam Nashrah, and Surat Al-Inshirah. These names were mentioned by Ibn Ashour and others. No specific virtue has been authentically reported for this , but it is permissible to make tawassul to Allah by reciting any surah from the Qur’an to fulfill legitimate needs, as stated in the : "Recite the Qur’an and ask Allah by it," meaning ask Allah by it whatever you wish of matters concerning this world and the Hereafter.
