The name of Allah Almighty must be protected from degradation, for He says: "And whoever honors the sacred rites of Allah - it is better for him in the sight of his Lord." If there is no need for papers and notebooks that contain the name of Allah, they can be destroyed by cutting or shredding. However, if there is a need for them, they should be left, and it becomes the responsibility of those who come after you to preserve them. There is a difference in the obligation of respect between the name of the Prophet and what others are named after.
