The answer

There is no fixed supplication (dua) or remembrance () for strengthening memory. However, there are methods and means to enhance memory, including: fearing Allah the Almighty by obeying His commands and avoiding His prohibitions, diligently striving through frequent memorization and comprehension, and consuming raisins, ginger, and frankincense. When forgetfulness occurs, a Muslim seeks help by increasing the remembrance of Allah. As for the narration attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib, which mentions a supplication for memory after a specific prayer, it is a fabricated (mawdu') and should not be attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor is it permissible to worship through its contents.
