Is it permissible to cite destiny as an excuse for falling short in taking the necessary means in an oppressive situation that has affected worship and study?

It is permissible to cite destiny (Qadar) for the occurrence of a calamity, but it is not permissible to cite it for an act of disobedience. It is advised to be cautious in the future against evil and unjust people, and to take the necessary precautions. If the situation is one to be ashamed of, then it must be concealed and not discussed. If there was a shortcoming that led to the occurrence of injustice, then repentance to Allah erases the sin. One must face life with optimism and good thoughts of Allah, engage in usual activities, and strive in worship.
