Is fasting with the intention of losing weight, while still being able to drink water, considered fasting for other than Allah?

Among the conditions for the validity of fasting is abstaining from things that break the fast from the rise of true dawn until sunset. If a fasting person intentionally drinks water during the fast, their fast is invalidated, and they will not be rewarded for it. If a fasting person abstains from things that break the fast from dawn until sunset with the intention of drawing closer to Allah, even if they also intend dieting or weight loss, they will be rewarded for this fast. However, if their sole intention for fasting is weight loss and they do not intend to draw closer to Allah the Almighty, then there is no reward for them.
