The answer

Dealing with usury is one of the major sins, and repentance from it is obligatory by abandoning usurious transactions and getting rid of usurious gains by spending them on charitable causes and public welfare, such as the poor and the needy. It is permissible to pay off the mother's debts from these gains if she is unable to pay them, as she falls under the category of the needy and eligible recipients of usurious gains, because a person is not obligated to pay off their parents' debt. Sheikh Ibn Baz mentioned that usurious profit should be spent on charitable causes, such as giving charity to the poor, repairing restrooms, and helping debtors who are unable to pay.
