There is no harm in saying, "except whom my Lord has mercy upon," and the proof for this is Allah Almighty's saying: "And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent inciter of evil, except for what my Lord has mercy upon. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful." (Yusuf: 53).
