The cure for obsessive thoughts () is to ignore them and pay them no mind. What you did by disregarding the obsession is correct, so continue with it. Your prayer is valid in all instances. The difference in hand placement during prostration does not matter, and doubt about passing wind should be ignored, with purity being presumed to remain intact.
