Where did Adam and Eve descend after their expulsion from Paradise?

No Hadith has been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that clarifies the place where Adam was made to descend. It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that Adam was made to descend to the land of India, and Eve to Jeddah. Then they met in Muzdalifah (which was named so because Eve drew near (izdalafat) to him there) and they gathered in Arafat (hence it was named 'gathering' (jama')). It is advised not to preoccupy oneself with such questions that do not lead to any practical action.
