How is the Takbirat al-Ihram attained?

The virtue of the opening takbir (takbirat al-ihram) with the Imam is attained by being present for the Imam's takbir and saying the takbir immediately after him without delay. If one does not catch it or delays, they miss it. Some scholars are of the view that it is attained by catching some of the standing (qiyam) or the beginning of the bowing (ruku'), but the correct view is the first one.
