The best names are "Abdullah" and "Abdul Rahman," because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the most beloved of your names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdul Rahman." A number of Companions were named with this name, among them Abdul Rahman ibn Awf.
