You are obligated to make up for the day you broke your fast. Expiation () is only required for breaking the fast through sexual intercourse. You are not bound to follow the view of the Maliki school, and what happened is not a vow (), because a vow is only established by an utterance that indicates commitment, or by mere doubt. You must abandon obsessive thoughts and not pay attention to them.
