The Qur’an is preserved by Allah’s preservation, as He says: “Indeed, it is We who sent down the (the Qur’an), and indeed, We will be its guardian.” Uthman did not delete anything from the Qur’an; rather, he united the people upon a single with the approval of the Companions.
