How is the wealth of a woman who died, leaving behind an elderly husband and children, distributed?

The husband is not more entitled to his deceased wife's money. Rather, the money is distributed from her estate according to the provisions of Islamic law. If a woman dies and leaves behind a husband and children, the husband receives one-fourth as a prescribed share, and the remainder is distributed among the children by residuary right, with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females. It is advisable to consult the Sharia court in the country for a declaration of inheritance.
