Is it permissible to inform one's husband about the marital and other problems of friends, and everything that happens between the wife and her friends, as well as her problems with her family?
It is not permissible for a wife to tell her husband about the marital affairs of her friends, nor is it permissible for friends to reveal them, because these are secrets that are not permitted to be disclosed due to the harms they entail, except for consultation to the extent of need, or by narrating the problem as if it happened to an unknown person.
As for marital problems with family, if the wife is the cause, she must fear Allah and stop. If they are the cause, she must be patient and endure the harm, and she will have a great reward for that, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "Repel evil with that which is better, and thereupon he between whom and you was enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend" and the Hadith of Abu Hurairah.
Informing the husband of these problems depends on an assessment of the benefit; if it helps resolve the dispute, there is no objection. If the husband is not on good terms with the family, it is better not to inform him to avoid complicating the problems.
