One must be keen to avoid unlawful mixing (ikhtilat) while simultaneously maintaining kinship ties, as there is no contradiction between the two. This can be achieved by allocating separate seating areas for men and women during visits, even if the space is limited. As for accidental encounters on the street or at the entrance of a house, there is no sin in them, provided one is cautious. Paradise requires effort and patience in obedience, and whoever seeks good will be granted it.
