Is it permissible to divorce a wife who repeatedly leaves the house without permission and exploits her elderly parents, knowing that the parents are old and none of their requests are ever refused?

Allah Almighty has given the husband the right of Qawamah over his wife. Part of this Qawamah is that he obligates her to perform the obligatory duties and avoid forbidden acts, such as hijab and chastity. He should not be deterred from this by fear of displeasing his parents. If the wife does not comply after that, he has the right to divorce her. He is not obligated to obey his parents in preventing divorce in this case, because their obedience is only in what is good and permissible.
