What should a Sunni Muslim man, married to a Christian woman, do when their two-month-old infant is requested by the Christian mother to be baptized in the church?

It is permissible for a Muslim man to marry a chaste Christian woman, based on the Almighty’s saying: (and the chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture). However, it is not advisable at present due to significant risks, especially concerning the upbringing of children, such as the possibility of their Christianization. The husband must safeguard his Muslim child's religion and prevent their Christianization, even if it leads to separation from his wife, because baptizing the child does not make him a Christian; he remains a Muslim, following his father's religion.
