What is the ruling on renting or selling an apartment allocated by the General Authority for Popular Housing when traveling for a year?

If you acquired the dwelling through ownership, you are permitted to dispose of it by selling, renting, gifting, or giving it as charity. However, if your acquisition was solely for the purpose of residence, then you may rent it out for the duration of your travel, but you are not permitted to sell it, gift it, or give it as charity.
