"If someone makes his wife's divorce contingent on her leaving without his permission, then once she leaves, the divorce occurs, and her forgetfulness is not considered. There is no difference between intending to threaten or intending to divorce, according to the preponderant opinion of scholars. However, he can take her back as long as her waiting period has not ended, if it is the first or second divorce."
