What your brother committed is heinous, and he must be advised and forbidden from this evil. If he repents and becomes upright, do not abandon him. Otherwise, abandon him to rebuke and deter him, or to avoid his evil. There is no sin upon you for what your brother did to you, as long as it was against your will. Abandon him in obedience to Allah, for his rectification, and out of eagerness for his guidance.
