Is reciting Al-Fatiha over the deceased after the funeral prayer a Bid‘ah (innovation) or a Sunnah?

Committing to reciting Al-Fatiha or other surahs after the funeral prayer is an innovation (bid'ah). However, reciting the Quran and dedicating its reward to the deceased is permissible, and its reward will reach them, Allah willing, unless there is an impediment in the deceased preventing them from benefiting from the reward, such as disbelief.
