Is a chicken considered ritually slaughtered (halal) if it was electrically stunned without dying, then only one of the jugular veins was cut with a knife that pierced the neck, with profuse bleeding and the chicken convulsing?

The Shar'i (Islamically lawful) slaughter involves the slaughtering or sacrificing of a meat-eatable animal by a discerning Muslim or a person of the Book, by cutting the windpipe and the esophagus. Scholars have differed on whether the jugular veins should also be cut along with them. It is preferable to cut all four (the windpipe, the esophagus, and the two jugular veins) to resolve any differing opinions, and to avoid torturing the animal. Electrical stunning is disliked because it tortures the animal.
